Process invites proposals and submissions for a series of upcoming posts about the histories of sport. This series will be open to a variety of topics, including sports activism; the athletic field or court as a site of culture wars; sport scandals; sports and race, ethnicity, and migration; disability and sport; sports and LGBTQ+ history; Title IX, the Olympic Games; the Super Bowl; and other related topics. We accept pitches from anyone actively engaged in the practice of U.S. history, including researchers, teachers, graduate students, archivists, curators, public historians, digital scholars, and others.
